First things first... and very sad... One of my best friends from high school died this week. He was a good man, and entirely too young. Matt was an inspiration to hundreds of theater kids and thousands of people battling cancer. Starring, you will be missed.

Step one: Changed my icon. Elicia is out, and Ella is in. She's rather more admirable anyway. Maybe those excited blue eyes will inspire adventurous things. Hint: I'm pushing the 7th Sea equivalent of the Rosicrucians in pretty soon...

Step two: Really, no job should mean I'm hard-core writing and studying. I'm trying to add a bit more knowledge to my day, but haven't gotten back in the writing game yet. Stephen from Hillsdale is pushing nano, though...

Here's what I'm reading right now:
-Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco (why I will NOT put die Kreutzritter in my novel)
-The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren (reading with Dad yay!)
-The Problem of Pain by CS Lewis (this one is awesome and full of logics!)

Disney's "Three Musketeers" is coming from Netflix so I can get back in the exploration and adventure mode. And so I can have tasty Aramis.

Step three: I HAVE A DIAGNOSIS!!! The "What's wrong with Bess" game is over! Ehler-Danlos Syndrome. The treatment is exercise and protecting the joints. Fairly easy once I can get out of bed. Day-to-day walking about is still a struggle. Please send along prayers, vibes, candy, etc. for healing purposes.

Step four: SLEEP NOW.
